Artist Statement
As a graphic designer, I seek to portray a story in all of my work. I look into the project or task given and search for a way to tell a story through multiple mediums of print and digital practices. The way I examine projects starts with using fine arts by sketching my ideas out and using them as a part of telling the story by forming a solid idea on the task/ program. My past continues to influence my work in different mediums like drawings or watercolors which can be used as background or design elements in my projects. Once creating backgrounds or design elements, I enhance these pieces through the use of Adobe programs to make a larger piece part of the story. I find that with my work I am always looking to combine the use of physical and digital mediums to seamlessly flow as one story. Nazareth University has given me the tools and assets to further my career as an illustrator/ graphic designer and I wish to continue my story in the real world.
